When I was a kid in the 80s, my uncle Roger owned and ran pubs with his boyfriend, (uncle) Joey and when they split up, with (plain old…no uncle) Steven.

With it being the 80s these pubs always had a jukebox.

When Roger died in the 2000s, I inherited the contents of said jukebox…at least 2 or maybe 3 (I could only find 2 but i remember 3) boxes of 7”s. The singles are mostly from the early 80s to early 90s.

Most of the music was standard 80s trash with very similar and frankly shite production values but some of it was surprisingly good.

The amount of Madonna singles was impressive…as was the amount of Kylie singles.

The tunes on this album were made in a very similar way to Leuder van Frohr…technically and in spirit : grab a random 7” from the box, slap it on the turntable, sample it and try to bang out a tune as fast as possible using hardware only.

Shuffle modus works very well on this collection.

This is volume 1 of 2, maybe 3.
